Alicante's own Awa Fam has officially joined the Seattle Storm, marking a significant milestone for Spanish basketball. The 19-year-old center, chosen third overall in the WNBA draft—the highest ever for a Spanish woman and matching Pau Gasol's NBA draft position—was presented to her new team this week.
