Babiš and Two Ministers Hike Lysá Hora, PM Calls It Tougher Than Last Year

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, accompanied by the ministers of Industry and Trade, Karel Havlíček, and Labour and Social Affairs, Aleš Juchelka, ascended Lysá hora, the highest peak in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, reaching an altitude of 1,323 meters. The ascent took place on a Saturday morning.

Babiš remarked that the challenging hike was more demanding this year compared to his first attempt on the mountain last year. He was joined by numerous supporters and regional politicians affiliated with the ANO movement, indicating a display of unity and engagement with the public.

The annual hike on Lysá hora has become a tradition for the Prime Minister and members of his party, serving as an opportunity for informal interaction with constituents and a moment to reflect on regional engagement. The event highlights the ANO movement's efforts to maintain a visible presence and connect with voters outside of formal political settings.
