Bad Bunny concert in Milan evacuated due to severe storm with hail; it will not be rescheduled

A severe storm featuring intense rain and hail forced the evacuation of Bad Bunny's second and final concert in Milan on Saturday, disrupting the highly anticipated event for approximately 80,000 attendees.

The concert, held at the SNAI La Maura Hippodrome on the outskirts of Milan, was part of the artist's 'World Tour' and was the sole scheduled date in Italy. Shortly after the show began at 8:00 PM local time, Bad Bunny had to pause the performance for about 10 minutes as the weather initially worsened.

However, as the storm intensified, authorities made the decision to evacuate the venue for the safety of everyone present. Videos shared on social media by concertgoers depicted their immediate exit from the area and the crowded conditions at a nearby metro station.

Milan's Fire Department and Emergency Services, along with other authorities, were involved in managing the evacuation. The Italian Civil Protection had previously issued warnings on Friday about impending "strong intensity" storms expected in northern Italy starting Saturday.

Live Nation Italia, the promoter, announced that the concert would unfortunately not be rescheduled, despite their best efforts. "The safety of all attendees has always been our top priority," the promoter stated, apologizing for the inconvenience. They confirmed that "all ticket holders will receive a full refund," including booking fees.
