Badejo-Okusanya Inaugurated as 33rd President of Nigerian Bar Association

Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya officially assumed leadership as the 33rd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) during a formal ceremony held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The inauguration saw Badejo-Okusanya take the oath of office, administered by her predecessor, Afam Osigwe, SAN. The event was attended by a distinguished gathering of senior members of the Bar and Bench, along with other notable dignitaries, underscoring the significance of the transition.

In his farewell remarks, Osigwe formally handed over the mantle of leadership to Badejo-Okusanya, presenting her with a handover note. He expressed his readiness to transition, stating, “This is your handover note. A more comprehensive one will be given to you later. I hereby now out.” This gesture marked the official commencement of Badejo-Okusanya’s tenure as the head of the NBA.
