Balmoral, Stamina launch boxing academy in Nigeria

Balmoral Promotions and Stamina For Sale have launched the Stamina High Performance Academy in Nigeria, a new initiative dedicated to identifying and nurturing the nation's emerging boxing talent. The academy will operate simultaneously in Lagos and Akwa Ibom.

This venture merges Stamina's high-performance boxing expertise, honed in the United Kingdom, with Balmoral's established Nigerian boxing and promotional capabilities. The academy's core focus includes talent identification, comprehensive athlete development, and establishing clear pathways for Nigerian fighters to pursue professional and international boxing careers.

The objective of Stamina High Performance Academy is to identify that talent, develop it properly and create a pathway for athletes with the ability and ambition to progress to the highest levels of the sport.

Tunde Ajayi, founder of Stamina For Sale, highlighted Nigeria's abundant boxing talent, emphasizing the need for proper harnessing. Ajayi, known for developing high-performance fighters in the UK, including Anthony Yarde and Daniel Dubois, plans to leverage his "System9" approach to training.
