Banqiao District Property Market Shows Resilience Amidst Market Weakness

Even with a generally sluggish property market last year, the Banqiao district in New Taipei City demonstrated resilient sales for its new housing projects. Several prominent developments have sustained steady sales momentum, becoming the primary support for the regional real estate market.

Projects like 'Far Eastern Forest A+' benefit from a large-scale development and brand recognition, primarily offering mid-to-large-sized units. Despite high price points, these units have found a stable market, with the second phase of the project now underway. 'Shin Lun World City' focuses on smaller units, including 2-bedroom apartments and some office spaces, with prices starting around 19.88 million New Taiwan dollars for 2-bedroom units, attracting first-time buyers and those looking for more affordable options.

'Anan PARK,' located in the Jiangzicui North side redevelopment zone, is a newer offering. Although further from the MRT station, it targets first-time homebuyers and upgraders with compact 18-ping units starting at approximately 23.8 million NT dollars, including parking. This project has maintained visibility within the redevelopment area.

New projects continue to emerge in Banqiao. 'Far Eastern Forest A+' is now selling its B building, offering 2-to-4-bedroom units ranging from 27 to 50 ping, emphasizing its rarity as the final residential building in the park development. 'Farglory Harmony,' near the Nanya Night Market, will offer units from 24 to 66 ping on a large site. 'Sun Rich Jade,' located by the Music Park, will feature 2-to-3-bedroom units. Additionally, Farglory Construction's urban renewal project 'Bulgari,' near Banqiao Station, is a significant development with over 2,000 ping of land and units planned from 28 to 41 ping.
