Bayelsa gov, Edo senator felicitate Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir

Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri and Senator representing Edo South, Neda Imasuen, have conveyed warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid-el-Kabir. This significant Islamic festival commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah.

Governor Diri, in a statement, highlighted that the festival embodies the virtue of sacrifice, which he urged adherents to emulate. Diri also admonished them to consistently embrace patriotism, selflessness, patience, and sacrifice, fostering stronger bonds of brotherhood and harmonious coexistence with people of other faiths.
