Bayelsa Police Chief hails governor's skills program for curbing crime

The Commissioner of Police in Bayelsa State, Iyamah Daniel Edebor, has lauded Governor Douye Diri's Skills Acquisition and Empowerment Programme, attributing a reduction in crime to its success in equipping youths with entrepreneurial skills and fostering self-reliance.

The commendation was delivered by the Police Public Relations Officer during a visit to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Entrepreneurship Development. The PPRO conveyed the Commissioner's message, stating that the program's positive impact is visible across the state. He highlighted how it has taken many young people off the streets by creating opportunities for them to become self-reliant.
