Becali Desperately Searches for a Coach, With Four Big Names on His Wishlist

FCSB's 2-1 derby defeat by Dinamo has reopened the debate over the club's coaching position. Soon after the match at Arcul de Triumf, owner Gigi Becali said Marius Baciu had indicated that he might resign.

Becali later clarified that Baciu had not been dismissed. Instead, the coach faces a clear ultimatum: he must take at least four points from the next matches against Petrolul and Universitatea Craiova to keep his job. Becali made the decision after speaking with representatives of the FCSB supporters' group.

Becali has also spoken with Dan Petrescu, although he said a doctor would not allow Petrescu to take the job until the summer.
