Becamex Binh Duong Relegated from V-League After Final Round

Becamex Binh Duong has officially been relegated from the V-League following the conclusion of the 26th and final round of the 2025-2026 season. The team's fate was sealed on the evening of June 7, when all three teams at the bottom of the table secured victories.

SHB Da Nang defeated Dong A Thanh Hoa 4-0, PVF-CAND beat Song Lam Nghe An 3-1, and Becamex Binh Duong won 3-1 against Hoang Anh Gia Lai. Despite all three teams finishing with 24 points, Becamex Binh Duong was relegated due to inferior head-to-head records against SHB Da Nang and PVF-CAND, placing them at the bottom of the league table.

As a result, Vietnamese football fans will bid farewell to Becamex Binh Duong from the top-tier league for the next season. CLB Da Nang successfully secured their position in the league, finishing 12th. PVF-CAND, finishing 13th (second to last), will have to play a playoff match against CLB Bac Ninh to retain their V-League status.

In other V-League news, Thep Xanh Nam Dinh secured the runner-up position with 54 points, earning them a spot in the AFC Champions League Two 2026-2027 group stage. Ninh Binh FC claimed the bronze medal with 51 points, finishing five points ahead of fourth-placed Hanoi FC. CAHN FC convincingly won the championship title with 64 points.
