Bee Swarm Attacks Group in Guasave, Sinaloa; Six Require Medical Assistance

A bee swarm attacked a group of people near an orchard in the community of Casa Blanca, Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico, resulting in six individuals requiring medical attention. Among those affected were two adult women and four minors, aged between eight and 14 years old.

Emergency services, including paramedics from the Red Cross, security personnel, and Civil Protection, responded to a distress call. The minors were transported by ambulance to a hospital for evaluation. The condition of the children was not immediately known. The two adult women also sustained numerous stings from the aggressive insects.

Civil Protection officials in Guasave issued a warning to the public, urging them not to provoke or attempt to eliminate bees. They emphasized the importance of contacting experts for the safe management of bee swarms, particularly when they exhibit aggressive behavior due to irritation.
