Behind the scenes of RTL's new crime series 'Specijalisti Zagreb'

RTL is set to launch its new crime series, 'Specijalisti Zagreb,' on September 7, promising viewers a blend of humor, intricate criminal plots, and gripping investigations unfolding on the streets of Zagreb.

The series focuses on character development and their evolving relationships, with each episode presenting a distinct criminal case. These cases are solved through meticulous evidence gathering, witness interrogations, and forensic analysis. The show aims to deliver a dynamic viewing experience, incorporating action sequences, chases, and physically demanding situations, all enhanced by various special effects.

'Specijalisti Zagreb' features a strong ensemble cast, including Peđa Gvozdić as chief inspector Zoran Jukić, Vini Jurčić as senior inspector Ana Kirin, Toni Gojanović as team analyst Luka Horvat, and Ivan Barišić as the unpredictable senior inspector Toni Kovačić. The series also includes numerous episodic roles, with over 120 guest characters already featured by the 14th episode, highlighting the project's extensive scale.

Production involved over 60 crew members directly, with the number significantly increasing when external collaborators are included. The series is directed by Filip Heraković and Filip Mojzeš, with scripts by Nikola Kuprešanin and Pavo Marinković. Notably, the entire series was filmed on location in Zagreb, utilizing the city's diverse settings.
