Belgian Prince Emmanuel Launches Solo Music Career as DJ Vyntrix

Prince Emmanuel, the youngest son of Belgium's King Filip and Queen Mathilde, is stepping further into the spotlight with the release of his first solo single as DJ Vyntrix. Titled 'Wonder,' the track is now available on Spotify, marking a significant step in his burgeoning DJ career.

This solo effort follows a previous collaboration with French DJ and composer Louis-Elzéar de Monspey. For the announcement of 'Wonder,' Emmanuel shared images of himself at iconic Brussels locations, including the Koningsgalerij. The single has already achieved over 4,000 streams on Spotify in just one week. The credits now list his real name, Emmanuel Leopold de Saxe-Coburg, alongside his artist alias. The song is characterized by a strong beat and female vocals, though it remains unclear if it features a guest singer or a digital sample.

Initially, Emmanuel maintained his anonymity with a ski mask and scarf, but his identity as DJ Vyntrix was eventually revealed through his official Instagram account, 'Prince_Emmanuel_Belgium.' His music, including this latest single, has been noted for clear references to his royal background. Queen Mathilde had previously described her son's music as a "hobby project," albeit one for which he has taken lessons.

Emmanuel is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in commercial business development in Brussels. While his future career path remains undecided, musical talent runs in the family. King Filip, Queen Mathilde, Crown Princess Elisabeth, and Prince Gabriel all play the piano, while Princess Eléonore plays the violin. Emmanuel himself has played the saxophone since he was young.

In the past year, DJ Vyntrix has built a notable following. His song 'Palace' has surpassed 100,000 listens on YouTube and around 84,000 on Spotify. He has released a total of five tracks and his DJ Instagram account boasts over 16,000 followers, offering glimpses into his creative process, including a recent photo of him working at a computer with studio monitors and a MIDI keyboard.
