Belgrade Boat Carnival sets sail this afternoon between Nebojša Tower and Branko's Bridge

Belgrade will come alive this afternoon with the 21st "Belgrade Boat Carnival," a vibrant celebration of maritime culture and entertainment. The festivities are set to commence at 5 p.m. today, June 13, promising an afternoon of colorful displays and lively performances.

Organized by the Tourist Organization of the Capital City, the carnival will feature a picturesque procession of decorated boats. These vessels will embark on a scenic route, parading from the historic Nebojša Tower to the iconic Branko's Bridge, offering spectators a unique visual spectacle.

Attendees can look forward to a rich program of music and entertainment along the riverbank. The main event area will be located on the plateau of the International Passenger Port "Luka Beograd," downstream from Branko's Bridge, near Karađorđeva Street. The Tourist Organization has extended an invitation to all boat owners in Belgrade's marinas to participate in this year's event by registering via email.

Competition will be a key element of the carnival, with crews vying for the award for the most beautifully decorated boat. The event will also feature performances by majorettes, entertainers, and a ceremonial musical procession by the Police Orchestra. Participation in the Belgrade Boat Carnival is free for all visitors, and there is no charge for vessels entering the competition.
