Belgrade switches to summer public transport schedule, reducing vehicles and adding seasonal routes

Belgrade's public transport system is shifting to its summer schedule, effective June 20. This change will see a reduction in the number of vehicles operating daily. On weekdays, approximately 1,372 vehicles will be in service, while weekends will have just over 900 vehicles running.

To accommodate the summer season, new seasonal routes are being introduced, primarily serving the Savsko Lake area. These include "Ada 1" connecting Vidikovac and Savsko Lake, "Ada 2" from Zemun to Ada, "Ada 3" from Konjarnik to Ada, "Ada 4" for residents of Mirijevo to reach Savsko Lake, and "Ada 5" linking Bežanijska Kosa and Savsko Lake. The frequency of these seasonal lines may be adjusted if weather conditions worsen.

The summer also brings roadwork across the city. Starting in July, construction will take place in Zemun, New Belgrade, and Vračar, including the city center. Specific areas affected include Vrtlarska Street in Zemun, altering routes 15, 45, 81, 81L, and 85. Work on Bulevar Umetnosti in New Belgrade will impact line 71, and in Vračar, street Žorža Matea will see changes to lines 76 and 77.
