Bellavista neighborhood operation for attempted homicide results in 12 arrests and weapons seized

According to PDI (Investigative Police) Sub-prefect Juan Zúñiga, those detained were primarily individuals in violation of immigration laws. He clarified that the arrested persons do not have a direct connection to the specific homicide case being investigated. However, the operation did yield the discovery of weapons and illicit substances, which have been secured and will be processed by the relevant authorities.

The PDI emphasized that the primary outcome for the detainees relates to their immigration status. They will be transferred by immigration personnel for the necessary notifications and proceedings.
