Bentley Unveils Most Powerful SUV, Bentayga Speed, and Upgraded GT S Models

Bentley is bolstering its performance lineup with the introduction of the 2027 Bentayga Speed, its most potent SUV to date, alongside the Continental GT S and GTC S performance coupes and convertibles. These new models are positioned as performance flagships, boasting comprehensively upgraded powertrains and enhanced market competitiveness.

The Bentayga Speed is priced from 15.88 million yuan and comes standard with 22-inch wheels, with an option for 23-inch wheels. Visually, it features blacked-out accents on the grille, window surrounds, and roof rails, emphasizing its performance credentials. Inside, the five-seat configuration can be optionally replaced with a four-seat layout for enhanced luxury. The SUV is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine delivering 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h.

Complementing the SUV are the Continental GT S and GTC S models. These vehicles utilize a high-performance hybrid powertrain, integrating a 4.0-liter V8 engine with an electric motor to produce a combined 680 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque. The GT S accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, while the GTC S achieves it in 3.7 seconds, with both reaching a top speed of 308 km/h. These models also offer over 80 kilometers of pure electric range and can be optioned with an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system for an enhanced V8 sound.

All three models incorporate Bentley's advanced chassis control systems, including a 48V active anti-roll bar, electronic limited-slip differential, ESC Dynamic, all-wheel steering, and dual-valve air suspension. These technologies ensure a blend of high-speed stability and agile handling, further solidifying Bentley's reputation for luxury performance vehicles.
