Berlin police are investigating the possibility of a second phase in a recent attack, which may have involved stabbing weapons. "It is part of the investigation whether there was a second phase of the attack after the driving phase. Whether someone then left the vehicle and injured people with possible stabbing weapons," Nath explained.

Witness accounts suggest that some individuals sustained stab wounds. Several witnesses also reported seeing a man dressed in black wielding a machete. Police are currently verifying these claims and addressing discrepancies in statements regarding the number of perpetrators involved.
