Security company Beryllium has stated that its operational facilities remain secure and unaffected following an explosion and fire at a nearby garage on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at a garage located next to Beryllium's compound on South Camp Road in Kingston, Jamaica.

An explosion and subsequent blaze involved a vehicle at the garage property. Four individuals sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital for medical attention. Beryllium clarified in a statement that the situation was contained entirely within the garage premises and did not impact their own operational facilities, buildings, or service areas.
