Hunter Biden suggested that his father's previous struggles during presidential debates might have been influenced by the illness.

Despite the grim prognosis, Hunter Biden expressed admiration for his father's strength and resilience. "My only wish for my father's health right now is that he would complain more," he said, adding, "I am most proud of my father’s resilience. He has proven time and again that he can get up after being knocked down, and he is the toughest person I know."
