Bishkek Hosts Exhibition on Chinese Writing and Hieroglyphics

Bishkek, the vibrant capital of Kyrgyzstan, is currently hosting a captivating exhibition dedicated to the art and history of Chinese writing and hieroglyphics at the International University of Kyrgyzstan. This cultural showcase, timed to coincide with the International Chinese Language Day, serves as a testament to the deepening cultural and humanitarian ties between Kyrgyzstan and the People's Republic of China. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Victoria Mozgacheva, the Vice-Mayor of Bishkek, and Li Hua, the Counselor-Minister of the Chinese Embassy, underscoring the significance of this bilateral initiative.

The exhibition itself is a visual journey, presenting over 36 stands and approximately 100 artistic posters that delve into the origins of Chinese calligraphy and the rich cultural legacy of the Tang and Song dynasties. Organized with the support of Nanjing University of the Arts and China's Ministry of Education's Center for International Cooperation, the event is co-hosted by the International University of Kyrgyzstan and the Confucius Institute at the Kyrgyz National University.
