Bishkek police seek victims of foundation director suspected of fraud

Authorities in Bishkek have arrested the director of the "Ashar Birikmesi" foundation, who is suspected of orchestrating a fraudulent scheme. The detention follows a complaint filed by a citizen identified as I.A.

According to the complainant, the foundation's director, identified as K.A., accepted 650,000 Kyrgyz soms from her. He allegedly promised to secure housing and a vehicle for her but ultimately failed to fulfill these commitments. The case has led to the initiation of a criminal investigation under Article 209 of the Kyrgyz Criminal Code, pertaining to fraud.

The suspect, born in 2000, has been taken into custody and is being held in a temporary detention facility.
