Bishkek SEZ opens China office to attract investment

The Bishkek Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has established a representative office in Chengdu, Sichuan province, China. This move follows a productive working visit by an SEZ delegation to China, which included meetings with numerous businesses and potential investors.

The new Chengdu office will focus on promoting Kyrgyzstan's investment potential. It will offer informational support and help forge connections between Chinese investors and opportunities within Kyrgyzstan. The delegation also held discussions in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, with representatives from the Shaanxi Entrepreneurs Association.

An agreement for long-term cooperation was signed with the Shaanxi Entrepreneurs Association. This pact aims to foster business ties, implement joint investment projects, and enhance collaboration with Chinese government bodies and the business community. The SEZ Bishkek stated that these initiatives are designed to attract investment, create new manufacturing facilities, and expand international partnerships.
