Blaze destroys Jewish-owned business in North West London, cause unknown

A massive fire engulfed and destroyed the warehouse of SVS Productions, a Jewish-owned events business, in North West London on Thursday night. The London Fire Brigade dispatched 25 fire engines and approximately 150 firefighters to combat the blaze on Oxgate Lane in Brent.

The fire involved a two-story, multi-use warehouse building within a business park. At its peak, most of the structure and its roof were alight. Firefighters remained on the scene to fully extinguish the flames. While the cause is under investigation by the Brigade's Fire Investigation Team, the fire is not currently being treated as suspicious.

SVS owner Uzziel Sassoon confirmed the warehouse was "completely destroyed." He expressed gratitude for the emergency services' swift response and for the messages of support received. Reports suggest SVS could have lost up to £3 million worth of equipment.

The incident follows a series of antisemitic arson attacks in North West London, including incidents at Hatzalah ambulances and Finchley Reform Synagogue. However, a recent fire at the Kosher Kingdom supermarket was not deemed suspicious.
