Blooming coach laments missed chances in hard-fought win

Blooming secured a crucial three points with a narrow 1-0 victory over Real Tomayapo, but the win was harder-earned than expected. Coach Erwin Sánchez acknowledged his team's failure to convert scoring chances, which allowed the opponent to remain in the game until the final moments.

The lone goal came from Colombian striker Bayron Garcés in the first half. However, Blooming squandered numerous opportunities to increase their lead, including a second goal by Garcés that was disallowed by VAR. Sánchez expressed frustration, stating, "We struggled to close out the match; we had several opportunities to do so. We need to refine this small but significant detail to be calmer and make the game flow better."

This lack of finishing created suspense until injury time when Real Tomayapo was awarded a penalty. Fortunately for Blooming, Ramiro Égüez missed the target, hitting the crossbar and squandering the visitors' clearest chance to equalize. Sánchez, however, praised his players' attitude and emphasized the need for continuous improvement.

"We have to keep working to achieve what we want and always maintain that positive attitude to seek out victories," Sánchez said. The win propelled Blooming to 16 points, placing them fifth in the "Todos contra Todos" championship and keeping them in contention for the top positions.
