Bocas del Toro Education Director Anaica Lescano Dies in Tragic Traffic Accident

Anaica Lescano, the regional director of Education for Panama's Bocas del Toro province, died in a tragic traffic accident Saturday night. The incident occurred on the road connecting Almirante and Chiriquí Grande in the province's Loma La Estrella sector.

Lescano was traveling with supervisor Lorenza de Ríos and professor Benigno Moreno, both of whom sustained serious injuries. They were transported to the Almirante Hospital for medical attention. The accident took place on the route towards Loma La Fe, within the Almirante district.
