Body found in grain silo in case of missing French girl

French authorities have discovered a body in a grain silo near Toulouse, which is believed to be that of an 11-year-old girl who went missing last Friday. The child's body was found wearing clothing similar to what the girl was last seen in, according to state prosecutor Olivier Naboulet.

An autopsy will be conducted to confirm the identity of the deceased and the cause of death. The girl disappeared after school in the small community of Fleurance. A 41-year-old man was subsequently arrested after surveillance footage showed him driving the child. He initially claimed to have dropped her off at a swimming pool at her request but later provided contradictory statements.
