Body in a workshop alerts police in Sidi Hajjaj

Authorities in Morocco have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in a workshop under mysterious circumstances. The Royal Gendarmerie in Sidi Hajjaj, near Settat, was alerted on Friday after the body of a man in his sixties was found.

The deceased has been identified as a single man, residing in the Ouled Cherki douar within the Sidi Hajjaj commune. He was reportedly unemployed before his discovery in the workshop located in the El Hri neighborhood of Ouled Amrah.

A worker at the workshop made the grim discovery, prompting the immediate involvement of the local gendarmerie. The public prosecutor's office in Settat has ordered a medical examination of the body.

The autopsy is intended to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the man's death. The findings will be crucial for the preliminary investigation being conducted by the Sidi Hajjaj gendarmerie in the Settat region.
