Boîte: a return to the spirit of the 70s, with much joy and good music

Griselda Siciliani and Carlos Casella have reunited on stage at La Trastienda for "Boîte," a show that captures the essence of 1970s nightclubs. The performance, described as a contemporary cabaret experience, blends theatrical elements with a musical repertoire that aims to recreate the mystery and sophistication of bygone eras. The artists' evident enjoyment in working together, a dynamic previously seen in their collaborations like "Estás que pelas" and "Sputza," permeates the show, making it a lively and engaging experience for the audience.

"Boîte" offers a surprising and eclectic song selection, performed in various languages. The show opens with the Italian track "Sesso e samba" by Tony Effe and Gaia, and concludes with the Spanish pop hit "Ni tú ni nadie" by Carlos Berlanga and Nacho Canut. Notable performances include Casella's rendition of Cher's "Believe" as a ballad in both English and Spanish, Siciliani's interpretation of the tango "Como dos extraños," and a duet of Daniel Melero's "Quiero entrar en tus cosas," which is highlighted as a particularly beautiful moment.

A striking element of the production is its scenography: a massive rock dominates the stage for the first half of the show.
