Bolívar thrashes San Antonio, closes gap on league leaders

Bolívar secured a decisive 4-1 victory over San Antonio at the Estadio Hernando Siles, strengthening their position in the league standings. This win brings them to 30 points, placing them just three points behind league leaders Always Ready, who have 33 points. The team is also keeping an eye on Tigre, who has 27 points, as the weekend's matches unfold.

Dorny Romero was a key figure in Bolívar's attack, converting one penalty and seeing another goal disallowed by VAR for offside. Martín Cauteruccio also contributed to the scoreline. Despite a missed penalty by Cauteruccio, where he sent the ball over the crossbar, Bolívar's offense proved too much for San Antonio.

San Antonio, meanwhile, remains with 17 points and faces the risk of losing its ninth-place position. The team struggled with defensive errors and imprecision on the field, although goalkeeper Luca Giossa made several crucial saves to keep them in the game longer.
