Bolivian junior tennis shines in Paraguay with two titles and three runner-up finishes

Bolivian junior tennis is experiencing a golden period, with the national delegation showcasing remarkable talent and securing multiple titles and runner-up finishes in Paraguay. The recent Yacht Open, part of the Cosat Tour and ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors, saw Bolivian players clinch two championships and three second-place finishes.

Samuel Glogau emerged as the star of the tournament, triumphing in the U16 singles category after a series of impressive victories. He culminated his singles campaign by defeating fellow Bolivian Emmanuel Paz in an all-Bolivian final. Glogau and Paz then teamed up to secure the doubles title, further solidifying Bolivia's dominance at the event.

Beyond Glogau's achievements, other Bolivian players also reached finals. Leonardo Suárez was the runner-up in the U18 singles, and Nicole Jiménez and Martina Salaberry secured the U18 doubles silver medal. These results extend a streak of success for Bolivian junior tennis, which has consistently performed well in Paraguay over the past three weeks.
