Bollywood icon Shaan to perform over 40 songs in Kathmandu

Kathmandu is set to host renowned Indian playback singer Shaan for a live performance on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Club Nova in Thamel. The event, titled 'Shaan Live in Nepal,' is being brought to the capital by Nepali Touch.

Shaan arrived in Kathmandu on Friday and is scheduled to depart on Sunday. The concert will commence at 7 pm, with the artist backed by his own touring band. Audiences can anticipate an extensive performance, with Nepali Touch owner Saugat Regmi stating, "He will sing more than 40 songs." Regmi described the show as "almost a non-stop show; there are no breaks in between, and it will run about two to two-and-a-half hours."

Shaan, famous for hits like ‘Chand Sifarish’ and ‘Jab Se Tere Naina,’ rose to prominence in the 1990s and remains one of Bollywood's most recognizable singers.
