Boost Cooking Gas Production: India To Local Refineries Amid Hormuz Crisis

India is urging its domestic refineries to ramp up production of cooking gas, also known as Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Refiners have received orders to "implement all technically and economically feasible measures" to boost LPG output beyond current minimum levels, according to a government notification.
