Borissov Denies Contact with Constitutional Judge Atanasova Amidst Flight Allegations

Boyko Borissov, the leader of Bulgaria's GERB party, has asserted that he has had no communication with Dessislava Atanasova since her appointment as a constitutional judge. Borissov addressed inquiries regarding alleged flights involving Atanasova and controversial media mogul Delyan Peevski.

"Since Dessislava Atanasova was elected constitutional judge, I have neither heard from her nor seen her," Borissov stated. He specifically highlighted that on the day in question, referring to the alleged flights, he was not in contact with her.

Borissov's remarks aim to distance himself and his party from any potential controversy surrounding Atanasova's conduct and her reported associations. The question of her travel arrangements with Peevski has surfaced following her recent elevation to the Constitutional Court.
