Bremen Left Party Nominates Sofia Leonidakis for State Election Campaign

The Bremen Left Party has officially nominated Sofia Leonidakis, the current faction leader, as its top candidate for the upcoming state elections in May 2027. This decision was made during the party's state convention, signaling a clear direction for their campaign efforts.

Leonidakis will be heading a strong team that includes prominent party members such as Senator for Health Claudia Bernhard, Senator for Economic Affairs Kristina Vogt, and Nelson Janßen, the co-faction leader. The party expressed its determination to engage actively in the election, with Landessprecher Max Petermann announcing plans to connect with voters directly through door-to-door campaigning, public outreach, and distributing flyers at workplaces.
