The center-right opposition in Brescia has formally questioned the City Council regarding the restoration of legality and the associated costs and timelines for Tarello Park. They are seeking clarity on the administration's efforts over the past year to enhance security in the green space, which has been plagued by degradation and illegal activities, issues recently highlighted by local residents.

What has the administration done in the last year to increase security at Tarello Park?

The opposition finds the current administration's measures, including patrols, green space maintenance, and events, to be inadequate. They argue that the proposal of beach volleyball, concerts, and food trucks by the Democratic Party (Pd) is a reaction to the persistent pressure from the center-right and the exasperated residents. The residents had previously brought the issue to a council commission, resulting in an approved report in 2025 that has yet to be implemented.
