British-Nigerian Influencer Dies in Bangkok After Genital Enlargement Injections

A London coroner has linked the death of British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo to genital enlargement injections in Thailand. Details of the case emerged months after his death through reports of an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court.

The 43-year-old died in the early hours of March 6, 2026, after receiving penile filler injections at an unnamed Bangkok clinic. The inquest heard that the procedure used about 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine to increase girth. Reports said Ubiribo underwent the treatment on March 5 while staying in Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.

After the procedure, the couple went for a massage. Ubiribo complained of chest pain and lost consciousness twice. He was taken by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was initially conscious and able to answer questions. His wife told doctors about the injections, but he lost consciousness again before a recommended CT scan could be carried out.

Doctors diagnosed a pulmonary embolism and moved him to intensive care. Medical staff performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation for more than 100 minutes, but could not revive him. A later post-mortem examination in Britain found material in his lungs matching the hyaluronic acid used in the injections, according to reports of the inquest. Assistant coroner Jean Harkin concluded that the cosmetic procedure caused the fatal embolism.

Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, had about 185,000 Instagram followers and was known for sharing his luxury lifestyle online. Reports said he owned properties in Los Angeles and London. He married Allen, a fashion designer and socialite, in Zimbabwe in 2022, and was later buried in London in a gold coffin reportedly worth more than US$745,000.
