BTS album and HYBE girl groups dominate UK charts

Global music sensation BTS continues its impressive run on the UK Official Albums Chart. Their fifth full album, 'ARIRANG,' secured the 39th position on the latest chart (June 26-July 2), extending its streak to 14 consecutive weeks within the Top 40.

This achievement follows 'ARIRANG's' previous success, having topped the chart three times. The album's sustained popularity highlights BTS's enduring global appeal.

Meanwhile, the HYBE girl group collaboration single 'ICONIC BY MISTAKE,' featuring Le Sserafim, ILLIT, and KATSEYE, is holding strong on the Official Singles Chart. After debuting at 22nd place last week, it has climbed to 36th this week, marking its second consecutive week on the chart.

Another track from KATSEYE, 'PINKY UP,' also demonstrates chart resilience, remaining at 77th place for its 11th consecutive week. Adding to the K-pop presence, the fictional girl group Huntrix from the Netflix anime 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' has achieved a remarkable 53-week chart run with their song 'GOLDEN,' currently sitting at 42nd place after moving up seven spots from the previous week.

The charts also show Olivia Dean reclaiming the top spot on the Official Singles Chart with 'Rein Me In,' a collaboration with Sam Fender. Olivia Rodrigo's 'YOU SEEM PRETTY SAD FOR A GIRL SO IN LOVE' continues its reign at number one on the Official Albums Chart for the second week.
