BTS Busan Concert Delayed Over an Hour; HYBE Apologizes for Operational Issues

The opening night of BTS's 'BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN BUSAN' concert at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12 was marred by a significant delay. The show, initially scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., did not start until approximately 8:15 p.m., more than an hour later.

Fans took to social media as the scheduled start time approached, reporting that they were still unable to enter the venue and describing the entrance area as chaotic. The delay was attributed to a combination of factors, including confusion with on-site guidance, bottlenecks in the queue for distributing fan gifts, and delays in merchandise pickup.

In response to the disruption, HYBE issued an apology late in the evening. "We deeply apologize for the significant inconvenience caused to all the audience members who came to watch the concert due to the delay in the concert's start," the agency stated. They acknowledged that despite thorough preparations, operational issues led to the postponement.
