BTS's 'SWIM' matches 'Butter' with 20 weeks on Billboard Hot 100; other HYBE artists also chart

Global music sensation BTS continues to dominate the Billboard charts, with their song 'SWIM' from their 5th album 'Arirang' achieving a 20-week streak on the main singles chart, the Hot 100. This milestone matches the longevity of their previous mega-hit, 'Butter'.

'SWIM' debuted at number one on April 4 and has maintained its presence for two decades. Meanwhile, the album 'Arirang' itself shows sustained popularity on the Billboard 200, climbing to 14th place from 15th last week. The album has spent a cumulative 13 weeks in the top 10, setting a new record for a K-pop album.

HYBE's influence extends beyond BTS, with their girl group KATSEYE also making waves. Their new song 'Animal' charted for a second week within the top 40 of the Hot 100. KATSEYE's previous EP, 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,' continues its impressive 58-week run on the Billboard 200, currently at 123rd place, while their debut EP 'SIS' has spent 22 weeks on the chart, currently at 168th.

Further demonstrating HYBE's strong presence, the collaboration 'Iconic By Mistake' featuring KATSEYE and other HYBE girl groups like Le Sserafim and ILLIT, has stayed on the Hot 100 for eight weeks, currently at 88th. Additionally, the rookie group CORTIS saw their mini-album 'GREENGREEN' surge 75 spots to 39th on the Billboard 200, attributed to their performance at the Lollapalooza festival and their North American tour.

In other chart news, BLACKPINK member Jennie's collaboration with Tame Impala, 'Dracula,' remains in the top 10 of the Hot 100 at 8th place, marking its 11th week in the top tier. The soundtrack for the Netflix animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' also continues its strong performance, holding a spot on the Billboard 200 for 58 weeks. The top spot on the Hot 100 this week belongs to Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas,' while Ariana Grande's new album 'petal' claims the number one position on the Billboard 200.
