Budapest Wine Festival celebrates 35 years of Hungarian wine culture

The Budapest Wine Festival is celebrating its 35th anniversary, marking over three and a half decades as a central event for Hungarian wine culture and a meeting point for enthusiasts.

From September 9 to 12, the terraces of the Buda Castle will once again become a vibrant hub, filled with winemakers, wine lovers, friends, and acquaintances. This jubilee event promises a rich experience for attendees.

Visitors can anticipate an extensive selection of over a thousand wines and champagnes. The festival will also introduce new programs, offering international perspectives on winemaking and viticulture. A strong emphasis will be placed on gastronomy, complementing the wine offerings.
