‘Bughead’ fatally shot by police in St Elizabeth, gun seized

A man identified as Reon Osbourne, also known as “Bughead,” was fatally shot by police during a targeted operation in Knoxwood, near Burnt Savannah in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. as police were searching for Osbourne.

According to preliminary police reports, Osbourne allegedly confronted the officers with a firearm during the operation. He was shot and subsequently taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities reported seizing a .38 revolver during the incident.

Police also stated that Osbourne was a member of a significant criminal network and had reportedly been hiding in the St. Elizabeth area. The operation was described as targeted, aimed at apprehending Osbourne.
