Bulgarian Interior Minister urges Road Agency to 'wake up' on safety

Bulgarian Minister of Interior Kalin Stoyanov has called on the Road Infrastructure Agency to "wake up" and adopt a more proactive stance on road safety, similar to the Ministry of Interior's efforts. Stoyanov stated that the agency, responsible for road maintenance and development, needs to implement comprehensive measures to enhance safety across the country.

Stoyanov expressed his dissatisfaction with the agency's current approach, suggesting it lags behind the Ministry of Interior's initiatives. He highlighted that the Ministry of Interior is undertaking "complex measures in many directions" to tackle road safety concerns. The minister implied that the Road Infrastructure Agency should mirror this commitment and operational intensity.
