Bundesliga Deadline Day: The key questions before the transfer window closes

Germany’s Bundesliga clubs have until 8 p.m. on Deadline Day to complete summer signings, adding pressure to teams still looking for reinforcements. Clubs in France and Italy face the same deadline, while Spain and England remain open until midnight.

The window stays open even longer elsewhere. Austria allows transfers until Sept. 3, Turkey until Sept. 4 and Switzerland until Sept. 8. Saudi Arabia has the latest deadline, on Oct. 12.

Reports say he is due to arrive in Italy for a medical and contract signing.
