Bursa Peaches Reach Global Tables: This Year's Harvest is Larger and Juicier

Bursa is experiencing a harvest season filled with excitement for its renowned peaches. This year's crop is particularly notable for its enhanced quality and yield, attributed to beneficial rainfall patterns that have positively impacted fruit development.

Producers report that the peaches are larger, juicier, and possess a more intense aroma than in previous years. "Thanks to the rains, the fruits became large, juicy, and highly aromatic. We are satisfied with the quality. We expect the yield to be better than last year too," stated one producer.

After harvesting, the peaches undergo sorting and packaging processes. Subsequently, they are distributed to markets across Turkey and a significant portion is exported abroad. As the harvest intensifies in the coming weeks, tons of Bursa peaches are expected to be supplied to both the domestic market and export destinations.

The early varieties have already been picked, and other peach types will be gradually harvested in the upcoming days. The fruit's fragrant scent, succulent texture, and unique flavor make it a popular choice during the summer months.
