Bursaspor debut thrills Iheanacho

Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho marked his debut for Turkish second-division side Bursaspor with an impactful performance, scoring one goal and providing another in their 2-0 away win over Bodrum FK. The Super Eagles star opened the scoring and later assisted his team's second goal, earning him the Man of The Match award.

Iheanacho, 29, joined Bursaspor last month on a free transfer after concluding his loan spell at Scottish champions Celtic, where he scored nine goals despite injury setbacks. His decision to join Bursaspor was influenced by the club's clear objective to gain promotion back to the Turkish Super Lig and potentially compete in European competitions.
