Buzet Days celebrates 45th edition with Porsche Taxi Lap and truffle experiences

Buzet, Croatia, is preparing to host the 45th edition of Buzet Days from September 18-20, transforming the town into one of Europe's largest automotive spectacles. This year's event introduces a significant new thrill: the "Porsche Taxi Lap," organized by Porsche Club Adria. Selected guests will have the unique opportunity to experience the legendary Buzet circuit from the passenger seat of a sports Porsche, driven by an experienced racer.

Buzet will once again turn into one of the biggest automotive spectacles in this part of Europe.

This adrenaline-fueled addition promises to immerse guests in the electric atmosphere that has made Buzet a cult destination in European hill climbing. The event traditionally draws over 15,000 motorsport enthusiasts. Safety remains paramount, with the Taxi Lap taking place on a closed road under strict motorsport regulations. Participants will undergo a safety briefing and receive professional protective helmets before their ride.

Beyond the high-octane driving experience, Buzet Days will offer a distinct culinary journey. Following the thrill of the track, guests will travel through the picturesque Paladine to the renowned Karlić truffle estate for an exclusive tasting of premium truffle delicacies. This blend of speed and gastronomy aims to provide a comprehensive experience of Istrian culture and produce.

Guests will sit in the passenger seat of a sports Porsche and, with an experienced driver, will travel the legendary Buzet track.

Further enhancing the event, a new VIP stage will be situated at the start-finish line, offering guests an up-close view of the race starts and impressive accelerations. This area will also serve as a lounge and meeting point for guests, partners, organizers, current champions, and legendary drivers throughout the weekend, complemented by select gastronomic offerings and local beverages. Preparations are also underway for the race itself, which will feature competitors from the FIA European Championship, the European Historic Championship, the Croatian Championship, and other series, including confirmed elite drivers like French Category 2 star Kevin Petit.
