C-Lon Wins Nano Industry Technology Award at NANO KOREA 2026 for Eco-Friendly Adhesives

South Korean company C-Lon has earned recognition for its innovative and eco-friendly adhesive materials, securing the Nano Industry Technology Award at NANO KOREA 2026. The award, co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, highlights companies and institutions with strong technological capabilities and industrial applicability.

C-Lon, established in 2002, specializes in seam sealing tapes and hot melt adhesive films used in functional clothing, particularly for waterproof and windproof apparel and outdoor gear. The company's commitment to environmental regulations was a key factor in its win. It has focused on developing 'PFAS-Free' products, eliminating per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, and has continued research into recyclable and bio-based adhesive materials.

Kim Jin-pyo, CEO of C-Lon, expressed that the award validates the company's research and development efforts in eco-friendly adhesives. C-Lon aims to leverage this recognition to expand its technological reach beyond apparel into sectors such as medical and automotive industries, thereby enhancing its global market competitiveness.
