Cà Mau Upgrades Park, Receives Monument from Ministry of Public Security

Cà Mau province has commenced work on upgrading the Hồng Bàng Park and constructing a significant monument titled "Công an nhân dân vì bình yên cuộc sống" (People's Police for a Peaceful Life). The Ministry of Public Security has generously donated the statue, estimated to be worth approximately 30 billion Vietnamese dong.

The Hồng Bàng Park, situated in the central area of Cà Mau province adjacent to the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee headquarters, is undergoing a comprehensive renovation. The upgrade, costing around 15 billion Vietnamese dong, involves natural stone paving across more than 10,000 square meters, enhancements to the green spaces, and improvements to the lighting system and other auxiliary facilities. This project aims to transform the park into a vital community space for recreation, exercise, and relaxation, while also enhancing the urban landscape.

Senior Lieutenant General Lê Tấn Tới, a member of the Central Committee, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee of the National Assembly, and Deputy Minister of Public Security, highlighted the monument's importance. He stated that the structure would serve as a cultural and scenic highlight, fostering patriotism and national pride. Tới emphasized the Ministry of Public Security's special attention to Cà Mau, the nation's southernmost province, noting their efforts in ensuring political security, social order, and implementing social welfare programs.

Senior Lieutenant General Tới also mentioned recent collaborations between the Ministry of Public Security and Cà Mau province, including the restoration of the Hòn Đá Bạc relic site and the construction of 1,200 houses for disadvantaged individuals and families of policy beneficiaries. He affirmed that the "People's Police for a Peaceful Life" monument is more than just an architectural piece; it symbolizes gratitude, heroic traditions, and the aspirations of the resilient and dynamic southern province.
