Calvin Harris to make long-awaited Tomorrowland debut after 20-year career

Electronic music fans are anticipating the debut of Scottish DJ Calvin Harris at Tomorrowland, where he will headline the festival's main stage and close the first weekend. Tomorrowland spokesperson Debby Wilmsen explained that Harris's long-awaited debut was primarily a matter of scheduling. "Calvin has toured little in recent years and has mainly played at fixed locations in Las Vegas and Ibiza," Wilmsen stated. "It was difficult to get him. Now all the puzzle pieces have fallen into place." The festival is proud to have secured such an "iconic artist in the history of dance music" for its 20th edition.

Calvin Harris, whose real name is Adam Richard Wiles, has been a prominent figure in electronic music for 20 years. He is recognized for writing and producing his music entirely himself, a practice he began in his teenage years. His career gained significant traction in 2006 when his self-performed songs on MySpace caught the attention of record labels EMI Music and Sony.
